The Matt's Place Foundation's founders are Theresa Whitlock Wild and Matt Wild. The group assists with house improvements, mortgage/rent assistance, and accessible tools for families affected by ALS.

Matt's Place Foundation, Inc. in Coeur d'Alene has received $5,000 from the Good Deeds Foundation of the American Land Title Association.

Theresa Whitlock-Wild, the co-founder of Matt's Place Foundation, Inc., said, "We are thrilled to be the winner of this grant from the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation. Our group will use this award to offer ALS sufferers who lack the resources to remodel their homes mortgage and rent help, remodeling support, and ramp assistance."

Because of the nonprofit's efforts to offer hope, housing, and support to families living with ALS, Denise Potts, CFO of Kootenai County Title Company, Inc., selected it for the funding.

One of the 26 charitable groups in the United States to receive a grant this month from the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation is Matt's Place Foundation, Inc.

Tomb added, "We are grateful that the Foundation can carry out its important work and have an impact in so many places due to our members.

The Good Deeds Foundation was established in 2020 by ALTA, the national trade association that represents the land title insurance industry.

Professionals in the field of land title insurance are eligible to submit grant requests on behalf of recognized 501(c)(3) organizations that they donate to or volunteer for.

Charities that deal with housing are given preference.
