According to Makkal Osai, a man was sadly murdered in an accident while en route to Melaka to feed stray dogs.

Jegathisan Visvanathan, a 42-year-old animal lover, kept 15 rescue dogs at home.

The victim, a restaurant owner, would ride his bike around Jalan Malacca Baru every day to feed stray dogs and cats.

He regularly closed his store at roughly 10.30 am on Tuesdays, and as he made his way to the feeding location, a car struck him. Due to severe head injuries, he passed away right away.

His premature death, which occurred in July 2021 from COVID-19, happened so soon after the death of his sister, according to his uncle V. Saravanan, left his family doubly grieved.

The Indian martial arts club Malaysia Silambam Porkalai Mandram has been invited to establish a chapter in Timor-Leste, according to the Tamil newspaper.

During a display of the traditional weaponry used in martial arts in Seremban, the invitation was made by the nation's ambassador to Malaysia, Joana Veneranda Amaral.

Joana expressed her admiration for Malaysian practitioners' abilities and methods.

The group was established, according to the head of the association, with the goal of continually developing the traditional martial art.
