We are starting a new topic and asking people's opinion on what do they think is the point where they should shift gears in their lives and start doing things that matter more than just dollars and personal savings. It is true that a person should keep doing good things to help others regardless of age and savings they have but is there a particular age limit or time when a person should really start shifting his goals from doing things only for him or herself and start thinking at a bigger level.
Do you have to be Bill & Melinda Gates and have that kind of money to do these cool and good deeds or can anyone start them? What is that age limit when you should give at least 20% or more of your time dedicated towards these good and cool activities which can bring happiness to others? How big our savings, assets, and personal portfolios should be when we can feel comfortable. Is there a limit for this number or should we keep earning, keep savings and keep increasing our portfolios as who knows how long we may live.....
