MKM, the largest independent builder's merchant in the UK, has started the "100 Good Deeds" campaign to mark the opening of the nation's 100th branch.
Each MKM branch is participating in this by doing good deeds in their neighborhood. This could mean giving money to organizations providing supplies for community projects, or volunteering time for neighborhood initiatives that are changing the community.
MKM Skegness, which already contributes to many wonderful regional causes, has chosen the Skegness RNLI, which offers round-the-clock lifeboat rescue services, for its charitable activities.
At MKM Skegness, Branch Director Mark Pellow stated: "We are incredibly happy to participate in MKM's '100 Good Deeds' program.”
"As a company, we strongly believe in giving back to the community, and this program is yet another wonderful example of how we are doing this.”
Ultimately, MKM and its personnel place a high value on charitable giving.
"We are a company at the center of our neighborhood, and we want to improve the neighborhoods where our employees and clients live and work.”
In the next months, MKM branches around the country will assist a variety of causes through the "100 Good Deeds" campaign, including local food banks, hospices, primary schools, the air ambulance, children's and health-related organizations, the RNLI, and community trusts!
