Morgan Wallen Helping Bring Thanksgiving Dinner to Thousands of Families in Need

Cool Story - Morgan Wallen Helping Bring Thanksgiving Dinner to Thousands of Families in Need

Thousands of underprivileged families will enjoy a happy Thanksgiving thanks to Morgan Wallen. To give Thanksgiving dinners to 2,000 families in 2022, the country music icon is collaborating with a non-profit group based in Tennessee.

According to Country Now, Wallen and Greater Good Music are working together to donate Thanksgiving meals to families in numerous underprivileged Tennessee areas, including Wallen's hometown of Sneedville, Tenn.

On Sunday, November 20, the nonprofit posted a picture of a huge queue of vehicles waiting to pick up ready-made Thanksgiving meals on Instagram.

The description for the image reads, "This morning, over 400 families in Sneedville, TN, drove up to receive Thanksgiving feasts with all the fixings supplied by country musician @morganwallen."

"We appreciate you working with us to assist families in need, 88.3fm WCQR Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee & More Than My Hometown Foundation. MANY THANKS, MORGAN!"

In July 2021, Wallen announced that the More Than My Hometown Foundation had been founded. The Wallen Foundation believes that by establishing and strengthening these four pillars—family, community, guidance, and love—every young person deserves the best shot at a successful life.

In collaboration with Wallen, Greater Good Music provided food through neighborhood high schools and food banks in various sections of Tennessee, according to Country Now. One of those high schools is located in Waverly, Tennessee, the scene of a catastrophic flood in 2021.

In that little rural town, they delivered more than 300 turkeys along with stuffing, seasonal fruits, and veggies.

Through the arrangement, Thanksgiving dinners were provided to an additional 600 families in Pikeville, Kentucky, which had also been devastated by floods.
