The largest charity auction in Romania raises donations for ten non-profits

Cool Story - The largest charity auction in Romania raises donations for ten non-profits

The Good Deeds Auction (Licitația de Fapte Bune), billed as Romania's greatest charity auction, opened its second edition on November 10.

The event aims to raise funds for ten non-profits in the country and is scheduled for December 20. Anyone interested can donate now at Artmark. ro.

The Romanian Red Cross, the Blondie Association, the Forever Forest Foundation, the World Vision Romania Foundation, SOS Satele Copiilor, the "Regina Maria" Social Innovation Foundation, the Motivation Romania Foundation, the Filia Organization, the Digital Nation Foundation, the Polisano Foundation are all participating in this year's Good Deeds Auction. The event brings together important topics including non-discrimination, social inclusion, local development, health, education, and sports.

"Giving is the most uplifting kind of art. At the A10 by Artmark Auction House in 2022, the tale of Good Deeds is continued. Together, we can save lives, give voice to oppressed women, feed the hungry in desolate places, safeguard Romania's forests, aid in the education of the next generation, and raise money to keep the hearts of children beating "Marius Manole, a representative of the Good Deeds Auction, said

The Romanian Red Cross project aims to lower school dropout rates and guarantee a hot supper for underprivileged kids from the most impoverished regions of the nation. A minimum payment of EUR 25 will provide a warm supper and a chance at life for dozens of children, whose cause seeks to raise EUR 250,000.

Three children in Romania pass away per day before turning one. The Blondie Association started the "Grow up huge" initiative, which requires EUR 200,000, to lower this number. Donations must be at least EUR 50 to be considered.

The Forever Forest Foundation works to preserve a single acre of forest in the Retezat Mountains, and its goal of EUR 600,000 will enable the purchase of the region's first forest-based biodiversity hotspot. Every EUR 30 payment equates to the price of purchasing and maintaining a square meter of the forest, which the donor will essentially own.

The World Vision Romania Foundation's mission is to assist rural youngsters in completing high school and selecting a career. Every donation, even as little as EUR 100, can help them reach their goal of raising EUR 120,000.

Compared to 28.1 years for children from families, the average age at which young people exit special protection services is 19.8 years. 40 young people (aged 13 to 24) will receive three years of help from SOS Satele Copiilor if it can fund EUR 162,000. The funds will be used for language programs, travel, training, essential supplies, young people's housing fees, and medical care.

The "Regina Maria" Social Innovations Foundation hopes to raise EUR 216,000, which would provide 1,200 low-income moms with free access to medical services, tests, and treatments.

While waiting, the Motivation Romania Foundation hopes to gather EUR 100,000 to fund the planning and execution of camps and internships where people in wheelchairs can gain independence, mobility, and activity.

1,500 women from underprivileged sections of the country would be encouraged to believe in their voices with a donation of just EUR 80. To help women learn how to use their rights and available resources to build better lives, the Filia Organization is working to raise a total of 120,000 euros.

The project for the Digital Nation Foundation requires EUR 40,000. A young individual who wants either a professional conversion or training in a present profession will receive one 6-month programming course module for every EUR 100 donation.

Numerous kids with congenital heart defects received life-saving surgical treatments thanks to the Polisano Foundation. The charity requires a total of EUR 190,000 to continue its initiative.

Via sending a written offer to the Cesianu-Racoviță Palace, by phone, online, or by making a direct donation on the Artmark Live 2.0 auction platform the evening of the event on December 20, anyone who wishes to help these causes can take part in the Good Deeds Auction. It's necessary to have a bidder account on Artmark. ro.
